 FACILITIES

Model Photo1Ultra-modern Facility
Normak's manufacturing facility in Hyderabad is a state-of-the-art plant, built with materials and machinery purchased from North America. Normak specialises in various types of plating finishes including "allergy-free" / Nickel-free and stop-off techniques to name a few. Unique looks are created utilising other plating finishes and/or other forms of colouration.

Skilled work force
Normak's workforce includes 600 skilled personnel plus a team of highly trained and dedicated managers. Senior Normak executives were trained on site in Canada and the U.S.A. Key personnel continue to visit North America annually to enhance their manufacturing knowledge by spending time at various Canadian and American factories.

Rigid Quality Control
To ensure and maintain specific quality control standards, Normak has invested in sophisticated analytical equipment such as an Atomic absorption Spectrometer plus an X-ray Fluorescence machine for precise plating analysis and maintenance.

Impressive Capacity
On an average, Normak produces in excess of 500,000 pairs of earrings, 10,000 necklaces and 20,000 bracelets per month, both for the domestic and export market. Other products such as pins, souvenirs and accessories are over-and-above.

Model Photo2Designing
The inspiration for designs is drawn from Europe and America and is crafted to perfection by experienced model-makers at Normak Canada to meet the needs of consumers world-wide.

Technology
Normak was among the very first from Asia to perfect nickel-free plating technology, which has since become almost a statutory requirement in Europe and some North American jewellery houses. As well, materials such as various "Nickel-free" earring posts and clutches further minimise allergic reactions to the ear. This hypo-allergenic feature is but one of the program features of Normak's jewellery. The jewellery program is large, encompassing a variety of inexpensive jewellery through to a range of extremely unique designer-type sets for the fashion conscious woman of the Millennium.

Investment Casting
Sterling silver jewellery is also made at the Normak plant using the lost wax process. Furthermore, an inexpensive line with brass as the base metal is also manufactured, retaining all the fine details this process imparts to its castings, without the high costs associated with precious metals such as silver and gold.
