OPERATING HIGHLIGHTS
 | Capacity (export facility) averages in excess of 500,000 units per month.
 | Fashion jewellery is the main product manufactured currently. Goods are produced for a diversified group of global customers ranging from volume 'promotional' items through designer label quality jewellery. In other words, what would be considered low to high-end product.
 | Product variables: both nickel-bearing and nickel-free jewellery are manufactured.Alloys ranging from lead free/high tin/low tin are used for cast goods.
 | Production specifications are varied to meet specific needs/requirements of each customer.
 | Production materials are supplied to India by Normak Canada. This ensures quality standards are controlled from the outset as they apply to all raw materials used in the manufacturing process.
 | Model development/adjustments are done through Normak Canada and then sent to India for manufacturing to order. A group of model makers are employed in Canada for this purpose.
| |
 | To eliminate tarnishing of silver-plated items, Normak EP coats the jewellery using an Electrophoretic plating process. The most effective one known at this time.
 | 'Stop-off' plating (two-tone) is a Normak speciality.
 | Rigid In-house testing ensures plating Quality. To this end, an Atomic Absorption unit plus an X-ray Fluorescence testing machine are in place along with a host of other modern analytical equipment.
 | Labour intensive items are where Normak is best utilised. Jewellery requiring extensive handwork (such as polishing, stone or pearl setting, bead stringing/manipulation, stop-off plating, epoxy etc.) is where significant savings can be realised, due to relatively inexpensive labour costs.
 | Lost Wax Casting-Normak has an Investment Casting facility to cater to the growing demand for Sterling Silver (.925) jewellery. The current capacity is limited to 20,000 units per month. All .925 jewellery is EP coated to prevent tarnishing/oxidation.
